Which battle rules does Daily Cynthia use?

Generation 4 rules on Pokémon Showdown's simulator. Physical and special categories depend on the move, not its type. For example, Shadow Ball is special and Dragon Claw is physical.

What is Cynthia's team?

Spiritomb, Roserade, Togekiss, Lucario, Milotic and Garchomp. The lineup and moves are based on the first Champion battle in Platinum, adapted to level 100 with perfect IVs, held items and specified EVs. Spiritomb always leads.

When does Daily Cynthia open?

The planned opening date is 2026-10-28 in your own time zone. After opening, a new team arrives at local midnight.

Will playing Cynthia change my other records?

No. Cynthia has her own daily team, saved battle, results, streak and text speed setting. Red, Blue and Lance keep their existing records.

Can I resume a battle?
